Sign PDF
Place a signature image or typed signature onto a PDF.
đ Files are processed on the server and deleted immediately after - nothing is stored.
âšī¸ This places a signature image or typed text onto the page - it does not create a cryptographically verifiable digital signature.
How Sign PDF works
How does "signing" a PDF actually work here?
The tool imports every page of the source PDF unchanged with FPDI, and on just one chosen page it overlays either an uploaded signature image or typed text rendered in italic Helvetica, positioned in one of four corners you pick using coordinates it calculates from that page's size and a fixed margin.
What is this actually good for?
Good for dropping a scanned signature or a typed name onto a specific page of an agreement or form before sending it back - a quick visual sign-off rather than a formal signing workflow.
Is this a real digital signature, and where does it get placed?
The tool's own page says so directly: it places an image or text onto the page and does not create a cryptographically verifiable digital signature, so it will not satisfy e-signature compliance requirements. It is also applied to only a single page - whichever page number you specify, or the last page of the document if that field is left blank.
