Salary Calculator
Convert salary between annual, monthly, weekly, and hourly pay.
🔒 Runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
ℹ️ Uses a flat deduction percentage you set, not real tax brackets - for exact take-home pay, use the Income Tax Calculator alongside this.
How Salary Calculator works
How does the salary calculator work?
It takes your gross annual salary and subtracts a single deduction percentage you specify, so net = gross × (1 - deductionPct/100). From that net figure it derives monthly (÷12), bi-weekly (÷26), weekly (÷52), daily (÷260, assuming a 5-day work week), and hourly pay (÷ (52 × your weekly hours)).
When would I use this?
Use it to quickly convert a stated salary into whatever pay-period figure you actually think in, for example turning an annual offer into a rough hourly rate to compare against a contract gig, or turning an hourly wage into an annualized figure.
What is the key limitation?
This tool uses one flat deduction percentage rather than real progressive tax brackets, social security, or other statutory withholdings, so it will not match an actual payslip. For a bracket-based estimate, pair it with the Income Tax Calculator - and treat both as estimates, not a substitute for payroll or tax advice.
